Process to take Bellin College classes AT the Bellin College campus

Fill out the Health Care Academy Course Registration Form
Fill out the online Health Care Academy Application
HSSD Dual Credit Course Agreement
- Must be submitted with all ECCP/SCN paperwork
- You will NOT fill out ECCP forms, but DO need to submit the registration form and dual credit course agreement forms on October 1 (spring classes), February 1 (summer classes), or March 1 (fall classes)
Work with your school counselor to determine which courses can be taken and how the courses fit into your Bay Port class schedule
The requested courses must not be a comparable course currently offered by Bay Port High School
What makes a course “comparable?”
- Content of the high school course is at least 80% equivalent to the postsecondary course
Each HSSD student is allotted a maximum of 18 credits during their high school career
If the course DOES fulfill a graduation requirement, then the student earns both high school and college credit
If the course DOES NOT fulfill a graduation requirement, then the student earns college credit only
Courses that count as elective credit fulfill a graduation requirement only if the student still needs elective credit to graduate

When asked if you are currently enrolled at Bellin College, you will select "No" (unless you are planning to take additional courses through Bellin College during the next term

Certified Nursing Assistant (NA)
We are excited to announce our Spring Nursing Assistant (NA) program offerings at Bellin College. This program is a valuable opportunity for high school students to:

Gain hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting alongside healthcare professionals.
Participate in classroom instruction that equips them with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, compassionate care.
Prepare to sit for the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification exam, a credential that allows them to work in healthcare immediately after completion.
Build confidence, professional skills, and a strong foundation for future healthcare education.

Spring 2026 NA Options:

Section 1 – Face-to-Face
- Dates: January 20 – March 12, 2026
- Format: In-person, evenings 3:30–8:15 p.m. on select weekdays, plus clinicals as arranged
Section 2 – Hybrid
- Dates: January 19 – March 1, 2026
- Format: Combination of online study with in-person full-day sessions (7:45 a.m.–3:45 p.m.) and clinicals as arranged
Section 3 – Hybrid
- Dates: March 23 – May 7, 2026
- Format: Combination of online study with in-person afternoon sessions (11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) with online components and clinicals as arranged
Section 4 – Hybrid
- Dates: March 23 – May 9, 2026
- Format: Combination of online study with in-person Evening sessions (3:30–6:30 p.m.) with online components and clinicals as arranged

Each section totals 90 hours (74 classroom/lab + 16 clinical).

Because this program includes mandatory classroom attendance and clinical hours, it is very important that students carefully review their school and activity schedules before selecting an option. Choose the course dates that best fit availability to ensure successful completion of the program requirements.

The Bellin College Nursing Assistant program emphasizes both quality classroom education and immersive patient care experiences, giving students a clear view into the world of healthcare while they are still in high school.
