1. Sign up in PowerSchool. Click here for your class options.

• You don't need to do anything else - your Bay Port teacher will teach the course (similar to a typical class at Bay Port)
• In order to earn college credit, you will need to earn a grade of C or better. This grade will go on your college transcript.

1. Fill out the Start College Now application.
   • Download the form on your computer, fill it out electronically, and then print it out. 
   • Applications are due by October 1 (spring semester courses), February 1 (summer courses), and March 1 (fall courses). This is a firm deadline for all students.
2. Pick courses to take via Start College Now (these are courses not offered on campus at Bay Port)

   • Must be submitted with all ECCP/SCN paperwork

1. Go to the NWTC transcript request link
2. Scroll to the bottom and review where it says "Have you taken dual credit courses in high school?"
3. If you run into issues, call 920-498-5444

1. Obtain a copy of the instructor's class syllabus
2. Go to Transferology to research if the course is already being accepted by the college/program
3. When you meet with your academic advisor, bring the class syllabus and advocate that the course be accepted into your academic plan (as program or elective credits)

You can earn college credit by taking a national standard exam such as Advanced Placement (AP), College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), and International Baccalaureate (IB). You will be awarded NWTC credit, at no cost to you, if you receive a successful score on your exam.
