Literary Arts Festival
The Anchor staff editors coordinate an annual Literary Arts Festival, a school-wide celebration of texts, poetry, readers, writers, speakers, music, culture, and more.
The theme of the Festival correlates with the yearbook theme and includes guest attendees and speakers to kick off the day. Previous guests have included poets from Project Voice, celebrated author Nick Jaina, alumni and renowned artist Carli Ihde, and musicians like LoLo and Stelth Ulvang from The Lumineers.
The Festival seeks submissions from students in areas of photography, art, panel discussion, acoustic music, spoken word poetry, play performance, monologue presentation, and more.
